Nursing System Requirements

Before continuing, please check to make sure that you have all of the necessary system requirements for operating this software. Failure to meet the required system requirements could cause the software to behave unpredictably, and may result in a loss of work!

Attention: DxR Nursing has known issues with proxy servers. If you are unsure if your school or ISP is running a proxy server, please contact your System Administrator. If running a proxy server, please contact DxR Technical Support at (800) 453-8040 to resolve these issues.

To successfully use this software, you should have the following:

Windows®

• Any of the following operating systems:
  • Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or later
  • Windows® Vista (32 bit)
• The Adobe® Shockwave® Player version 11 or later (a browser plug-in) must be installed for the selected browser. (Install Shockwave® Player)
• Sound card
• Headphones
• Monitor capable of 800x600 resolution and thousands of colors
• Internet connection and a compatible browser (See Alert.)

Macintosh®

• Mac OS X 10.4 or later with Intel processors
• Power Macintosh
• The FULL INSTALLATION of version 11 or later or the Adobe® Shockwave® Player (a browser plug-in) must be installed for the selected browser. (Install Shockwave Player for Mac OS)
  Note: You must have the Shockwave® version 10.1.1 or later, using the FULL installation. If you use a SLIM installation, you may encounter problems within the DxR Nursing software.
• Headphones
• Monitor capable of 800x600 resolution and thousands of colors
• Internet connection and a compatible browser (See Alert.)

Warning: DxR Nursing is not supported for use with America Online.

Alert: If your browser or if any secondary utility for your browser includes pop-up blocking capability, you must make sure this function is DISABLED while using the DxR Nursing software.
